First shoot with Agility dog and trainer.

These dogs are smart as a whip. Her name is Mel. She actually is a pretty serious dog.
Or "aloof" as they call it.Easy to work with as far as posing but was really tough to get her attention where I wanted it. I guess that's good. They want them totally focused on the trainer during competitions. The school where she goes to, asked me to come and take pictures during training. When the dogs are at the big competitions, there are photographers and flashes going off all day. They said they need to be exposed to that and alot of distracting noises. That way all this stuff is just second nature.

By they way...This is my Mom. So many of these came out good, hard to decide on which ones to post.



This one actually has a funny story with it.

She has two dogs. Mel and Gibson.
Gibson is the male. He is just like a child with ADHD. He's did not work out too good for the agility. So he has to stay home when Mom is trying to do stuff with Mel. Including getting picture taken. He has the funniest personally ever. He's just like the class clown we all had in school. My Mother was using the leaf blower one day and discovered that Gib loves to be blown with cool air from the leaf blower. He makes hysterical noises and faces....So, I took pictures of that one day. Last night we decided since he couldn't be there, this is how we would incorporate him into the scene.
